Personal InformationMore InformationThe HMTL (WYSIWYG) editor will not work in Vista IE 7. The box where you type your text is so small that your curser will not appear and nothing will type. To allow yourself and your students to type text without the HTML editor, you need to change your Visual Text Box Editor Options.
Personal Information > Visual Text Box Editor Options
From the Course view:
- Click on the Tools link on the navigation menu.
- Click on the Personal Information link.
- Click on the Visual Text Box Editor Options link.
- Click on the Unavailable radio button.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Submit button.
Q: What does this option do?
A: While using Vista's Internet Explorer (IE) 7 browser the HTML editor window will not allow you to type text. This will allow you to have access to a basic text window. If you choose to use Firefox, then you can turn that off.
