More Information

Q: Is there a limit to how much information I can store in the Electric Blackboard?
A: Yes, text that is roughly more than 500,000 characters will be truncated. This is about 250 pages, so you normally will have enough room for your notes.

Q: I added material to my Electric Blackboard, and now it is gone. What happened?
A: You must be accessing the Electric Blackboard from the same course that you originally added your notes. In addition, Blackboard does not save your notes until you click on the Submit button.

Q: Is there any way to format my notes in the Electric Blackboard?
A: No, but you can use carriage returns. Blackboard does not allow HTML or tabs.

Q: How can I print my notes?
A: The Electric Blackboard tool will not let you print, but you can copy and paste the text into an application, such as Word or notepad, and print it from there.
