How to Use Group Pages

From the Tools navigation button/link:

  1. Click on the Communication button.
  2. Click on Group Pages link.

  3. Click on the Group link that you are participating in.

  4. Click any of the following tools:

Group Discussion Board - Allows you to communicate with group mates by participating in forums for different topics.
Group Virtual Classroom - Allows you to participate in real-time discussion with group mates and instructor.
File Exchange - Allows you to exchange files with group mates and store files for later access.
Send Email - Allows you to send email to group mates ONLY.
Group Members - Allows you to access group mates' homepages by clicking on their names.

More Information

Q: I notice that the tools in the Group Pages section are the same as what is already available in the course. Why should I use these instead?
A: The Group Pages tools are a set of tools just for group participants. No one else can use these tools. This creates a great environment for you and your group members to privately collaborate on your project.
