Academic Web Resources

The Resources tool lets you share links provided by Blackboard to articles and websites with your students. You can customize which specific discipline area (determined by the Categorize Course tool) Blackboard displays when your students click on the Academic Web Resources tab.

Customizing the Resources Page

From the Control Panel:

  1. Click on the Academic Web Resources link in the Course Options section.
  2. Click on the Customize Resources link.
  3. Click on the Register link at the top of the page.
  4. Follow the directions on the screen to register and customize your Resources section.

Q: What discipline area information will be available within the Resources site?
A: The resources available on your site depend on your course’s category. You can customize your site by adding or removing links even if your specific discipline is not available in the Categorize Course tool.
