Archive CourseMore InformationThe Archive Course tool lets you archive a complete copy of your course and save them in .zip format. These archive files can be stored on a disc and reloaded into Blackboard for future use. You can now keep copies of courses for future reference. However, only a system administrator can restore a course. Restoring a course may have undesirable side effects since it will create accounts for everyone who was enrolled in the course when it was archived. Archiving a course does not remove the original course from the system.
Note: if you are only needing to backup the course content to use the next time you teach this course (more than 5 quarters), then Export the course.Archiving a Course
