RE:     Blackboardās Spring 2005 Course Shells Disabled/Deleted


WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT TO ME?

The Blackboard course shells for Spring Quarter 2005, enabled on Wednesday,
February 9, are not fully functional and we need to act immediately to repair a
known problem.  

As of 8:30 a.m. today, all Spring Quarter 2005 course shells were disabled;
they will be removed by 5:00 p.m. today.

WHAT IS BEING DONE TO PROVIDE SPRING 2005 COURSE SHELLS?

After we repair the problem and retest the result, we plan to make the Spring
Quarter 2005 course shells available again. Our expected restore date is
Tuesday, February 15.

WHERE CAN I GET MORE INFORMATION?

It is highly likely that all content added during 2/9 6am ö 2/10 8:30am will be
lost, so if you have added content or have questions about your Spring 2005
course shells, please email blackboardsupport@calpoly.edu for assistance once
service is restored.

We regret any inconvenience this problem may have caused. We appreciate your
patience as we update you on progress toward resolving this problem.
