How to Submit a HelpDesk Request / Remedy TicketAll Blackboard questions should first be addressed through the Service Desk. The Service Desk will be able to address your questions or pass it on to someone who can. Please call 756-7000, email servicedesk@calpoly.edu, or create a Remedy Ticket within the Cal Poly Portal http://my.calpoly.edu / Remedy https://arsweb.calpoly.edu/helpdesk/login.jsp.
Faculty / Staff: Create a Remedy Request
- Open your browser and go to the Cal Poly Portal http://my.calpoly.edu.
- Click on the GO button next to Remedy HelpDesk Requests, within the Main Student or Main Faculty tab.
- Click on Submit, when the Remedy site appears, .
- From the pull down window labeled “Choose One of the Following,” select Computer Software > I need assistance with > Blackboard.
Note: Make sure you give all the required information as well as additional information so that we may quickly support your needs.- Select the appropriate radio buttons regarding affected individuals and urgency; then press Submit.
Students: Create a Remedy Request
- Go to https://arsweb.calpoly.edu/helpdesk/login.jsp
If you are not already logged in, login to the Cal Poly Portal now.- When the Remedy site appears, click on Submit.
- From the pull down window labeled “Choose One of the Following,”
select Computer Software > I need assistance with > Blackboard.- Make sure you give all the required information as well as
additional information so that we may quickly support your needs.- Select the appropriate radio buttons regarding affected
individuals and urgency; then press Submit.When you have created a ticket, a Cal Poly Blackboard Support staff will communicate with you via this email address, phone, or their own email address. If you receive this auto reply AFTER you have submitted a Remedy ticket, please ignore this message.
