How to Submit a Service Request Ticket

All Blackboard questions should first be addressed through the Service Desk. The Service Desk will be able to address your questions or pass it on to someone who can. Please call 756-7000, email servicedesk@calpoly.edu, or create a Service Request System Ticket within the Cal Poly Portal http://my.calpoly.edu / Service Request System.

To Access the SRS system:

  1. Please log into the Cal Poly Portal (http://my.calpoly.edu)

Portal Navigation:

  1. On the Main Portal Page.
  2. Under the Single Click Access section.
  3. Click the Go button next to Service Request.
    Once the ticket is created, you will receive a confirmation email from the SRS System when your case is entered.

Note: All new tickets will be created in the Service Request System, but old cases will still be processed within Remedy until 6/15/08 when it is decommissioned.

When you have created a Request, a Cal Poly Blackboard Support staff will communicate with you via email or phone.
